Composer and pianist. She composed around 400 pieces and was a prominent figure in the Norwegian music scene, along with her friend Edvard Grieg.

Here is number 5 of his work 6 Idylles Op. 24, as well as the link to download the score.

Agathe was a student of Franz Liszt in 1873, and during that same decade, she built a distinguished career as a pianist with a series of concerts in Nordic countries, London, and Paris. Here's her Piano Suite, Op. 20, with a link to the score.

Her early compositions followed the characteristic style of European piano works of the 1850s; however, in her later years, she transformed and anticipated some of the Impressionist ideas of the early 20th century. Finally, here are two Agathe Fantasies. The first video is No. 5 from her 12 Smaa fantasistykker, Op. 55. The second video is No. 9 from her 10 Fantasistykker, Op. 39. Both also include links to the complete works.
