Composer and pianist. In 1915, she made her solo debut with the Utrecht Municipal Orchestra. She became a celebrated pianist in the 1920s, performing throughout Europe.
Here is her Sonata for cello and piano with a link to view the score.
Bosmans began her composition studies with Jan Willem Kersbergen and later with Cornelis Dopper, with whom she studied orchestration. From this, she wrote her first orchestral work, Poème, which I share without a score.
Bosmans had romantic relationships with both men and women. She had a seven-year relationship with Dutch cellist and composer Frieda Belinfante, who premiered her Second Cello Concerto.
I share Impressions, for cello and piano, as well as the already-known link to download the score.
