Julié Candeille (1767-1834) France

French composer, librettist, writer, singer, actress, comedian, and instrumentalist (something else?). Discussions of her music emphasize the primacy of melody and the simple use of harmony. Here's the Adagio from the First Sonata in G major and the link to the score.




In 2021, when I started this blog and published about her, I hadn't found any more videos of her music being performed, but I had found some scores on IMSLP, which I copied below. I'm very happy that five years after starting this blog, I've found a large number of videos featuring her music, so I'm copying all the ones corresponding to the scores previously listed here.
