Laura Netzel (1839-1927) Sweden

Composer, pianist, and conductor who sometimes used the pseudonym N. Lago. I'm sharing her Cello Sonata, Op. 66, as well as the link to download the score.



Netzel was born in Finland and has always been proud of her roots, even though she only lived her first year before moving permanently to Stockholm. Here's her Berceuse, Op. 69, with a link to download the score.




She was active in social causes, including supporting women, children, and the working poor. The following is the first movement of her Trio for Piano, Violin, and Cello, Op. 78. The score can be downloaded below.
