Marion Bauer (1882-1955) USA

Composer, teacher, writer, and music critic. She wrote works for piano, chamber music, orchestra, voice, and vocal ensembles. She taught music history and composition at New York University (NYU).

She was published in several magazines, edited Chicago's Musical Leader, and earned her great respect in the music world with her book, Twentieth Century Music.
