Composer and pianist, she was considered one of the greatest piano virtuosos of her time. In 1883, she began teaching piano at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, but left in 1886 to continue giving concerts. Here's her Romance, Op. 5, and the link to download the score.
Menter was Liszt's favorite student, who referred to her as his "only pianist daughter," admiring the way her hands "sang" on the piano.
Here is her Mazurka Op. 6 along with the link to download the score.
There's a wealth of information about her life as a performer, and many favorable opinions about her playing. There are few comments about her works as a composer. From what I can see on the IMSLP website, all of her works were for piano. I found that her work, Hungarian Gypsy Melodies, was orchestrated as a Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by Tchaikovsky, which I share below, along with a link to the score.
